The Police Had No Hope Of Catching This Kidnapper, But Bus Driver Manages To Do It In An Hour

Another Odd Interaction

After asking when the bus was scheduled to leave, the young man tried to get on but refused to pay for the total fare. It was supposed to be $4, but the man only had $2. So Tim calmly explained that the food would be $4 precisely for the child and him. No less and no more.

To Tim, it seemed like the young man hadn’t thought the young boy would also need to pay the fare to ride the bus. Which the driver thought was very odd. But his doubts waned when the man showed Tim a transit card that gave him a discounted rate of $2 for both passengers.

Continued Ride

With the fare issue sorted and time for him to drive, Tim diverted his focus on going. While the conversation with the man had been odd, it wasn’t alarming until he heard a beeping sound.

“It was a ‘beep, beep’ sound… like, ‘You’ve got mail,'” Tim said. It was an alert that sent shivers down the driver’s spine. Sent by the transit agency’s operation headquarters to every Valley Transportation Authority driver, this message changed Tim’s day.
