3 A Man And A Child

The day was typical for Tim, and he had successfully managed to reach all the stops in his route on time despite being rush hour. On top of that, the weather was divine. So Tim sighed, satisfied until he saw the man.

While Tim wasn’t one to usually judge, the duo instantly caught his eye. Of course, it was because the man was relatively young to carry a child onto a bus. But apart from glancing at them, the bus driver did nothing more.

A Bad Feeling

“He asked me what time the bus was leaving,” Tim later told The Mercury News. “I told him it leaves at 11:13 a.m.” This was a routine question and nothing that should have alerted the bus driver to the true nature of this man, but Tim felt like something was off.

Later, the bus driver described the young man as calm, too calm, considering the child he was holding was frantically crying. But the man tried to soothe the child, which all seemed normal.
