8 The First Robin
Robin, the Boy Wonder, is Batman’s loyal sidekick. Batman would not be the same character without Robin! The Dynamic Uno isn’t as cool. Many people may not know that Richard John Grayson was the first Robin, and that he served many years as Batman’s partner. According to Detective Comics #226 published in 1955 Bruce Wayne was the first Robin.
The comic tells us how Harvey Harris, the World’s Greatest Detective, became a detective after he learned from him. Harvey gifted a young Bruce a Robin-like costume and taught him the art of deduction. A bonus fact is that the quote Harvey gave Bruce was the source of the name “Robin”. Bruce said that Bruce was “as brilliant a robin Redbreast,” which is probably some 50s speak. [3]
7 Bat-mite
Many people love Batman. He’s frequently referred to as the most beloved superhero. While there are many fans of other characters who might disagree about who is the most popular, true Batman fans know there is one right answer. The fifth-dimensional imp that first appeared in Batman-mite is that answer. bat-mite is a difficult character to discuss because of his complexity, as with all things comics.
He could be regarded as a mere figment of Batman’s imagination or real in many stories. Bat-mite is Batman’s #1 fan and uses reality-warping powers to make Batman’s adventures more interesting. It would be funny for this to be the only appearance of Bat-mite in the past ten years. However, I find it more amusing that Bat-mite appears consistently in the Scooby-Doo/Bat-Man team-up comics.
