Top 10 Iconic Movie Outfits And Their Worth

Filmmaking is complex. To be successful, many elements must work together. The script, plot, set and costumes all have to be perfect in order for a movie to succeed. It is possible for characters to wear the same outfits over and over again, making them almost part of pop culture history. The originals can therefore be very valuable.

From Wolverine’s Claws to Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress, these outfits have a life of their own. . In some cases, they’re even more valuable than what the actor was paid for their role.

10 X-Men 2: Wolverine’s Claws

X2 was the second Marvel film and featured Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. The film’s stunt claws were not made from the fictional alloy adamantium like in the comic books. Hugh Jackman also didn’t have a spine made of this stuff, as we don’t believe.

Instead, the props are made of urethane and attached to metal machine grips that were marked “L2” or “R2” to indicate on which hand they should have been worn. The claws were used in the action-packed sequel and have some minor wear. However, the buyer bought them at auction for $45,250.

9 Batman Returns: Batsuit

Batman has seen many transformations throughout his career, as well as the actors who have played the Dark Knight. It was Michael Keaton’s second attempt at Gotham’s hero in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns.

Keaton is generally considered one of the most talented actors to portray the role. That could explain why his Batsuit for the feature was able to sell for a remarkable $41,000 in 2017. While it may not be the most fascinating suit, someone loved it enough to pay the price.
