Elizabeth Taylor exuded glamour throughout her life. While she was famous for her extravagant purchases, and her expensive taste, her onscreen costumes were no less impressive. The 1963 Cleopatra film featured Taylor in some stunning looks.
Heritage Auctions put up for auction the gold cape she wore when she played the Queen on the Nile. This was much to the delight of many who believed it was lost. It turns out it was purchased by a couture clothing worker many years back. The sale ended in a profitable deal, with the owner earning $59,750.
