Mad Maverick From 1969 – $15,000
This one might not be a surprise, since the Mighty Maverick is a very popular and well-known model! But before it was called that, it was branded as Mad Maverick! Mattel was forced to change the name after a copyright issue with a rival toy manufacturer.
After a very quick name change, any models of the original “Mad Maverick” became rather valuable and one in mint condition (which are very hard to find) can be worth up to $15,000.
Brown Custom Charger From 1969 – $13,000
At first glance, this Hot Wheels car probably doesn’t look all that impressed with the all brown exterior but if you happen upon a car that looks like this, take a peek inside. If you spot a white interior, you just found the jackpot!
Said to be worth up to $13,000, the Custom Charger was one of the more commonly produced models from 1968 until 1971 – just not in brown. Many believe it to be a prototype and only a handful of them exist.
