Don’t hate on us but this kind of seems useful and missing in modern homes? Can you imagine just rolling out a toilet from underneath your bed? No need to walk down dark hallways or fumbling around with the light switch.

Though, what doesn’t sound as helpful is having a bowl of excrements just sitting under your bed while you tried to sleep! So, maybe it is worth the trek down the hallway to save your significant other from such a sight….and smell!

Surgical Equipment

Before the 1800s and even after, most people had no concept of germs and bacteria and thus infection was rampant during this era. A simple cut would lead to death and don’t even get us started about surgery.

It was a common understanding in those times to avoid the doctor as much as possible and to be honest, they weren’t wrong. For starters, surgeons didn’t use anaesthesia and would not wash or sterilizing any of the knives, forceps, or other equipment in between surgeries!
