Top 10 ‘Survivor’ Behind-The-Scenes Facts

4 Strategically Arranged Votes

Ever wonder why tribal council votes tend to result in a tie? These votes are not announced randomly. Jeff and the producers meet after the contestants have cast their votes. They then work together to arrange the votes in the most dramatic way possible. This makes the event even more exciting and keeps us on the edge until the last second.

As an example, you can use the All-time classic Survivor: Cagayan merge vote. Jefra Bland, Sarah Lacina, and each other voted until they had five votes each. There’s still one vote. Probst then announced that Sarah had received the last vote from “Chaos”, Kass McQuillen, and contestants reacted. It would have been much more dramatic if all votes were randomly read.

3 The Contestants Has Body Doubles

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Survivor contestants do not perform all their stunts. Although they do complete every challenge, they sometimes use body doubles for convenience. Body doubles can be used to obtain aerial shots during challenges.

If the crew doesn’t have a particular shot, they can use body duplicates to recreate the challenge. Who are these doubles? Of course, the Dream Team! Survivor’s contestants also get body doubles while filming the episodes.
