2 Working With The Royal Family
Staff in the Family have many rules. Most positions are paid low at the end of each month. While Meghan caused quite a stir when she joined the Family, I must say that Meghan is not the only one. Kate was also being questioned after she married Prince William.
Two of her staff members left the office just days after she arrived. The couple who were her gardener/housekeeper had been married for many years and she wanted to complete the household chores. People who were responsible for those jobs were made redundant and left their positions. Kate just wanted to live her normal life.
1 A Huge Honor
Six other staff members resigned as soon as Harry and Meghan entered the aisle, except for Samantha Cohen and Melissa Touabti. Some of those who left included the Queen’s media secretary and the personal secretary of the Duke and Duchess.
Many of the team members claim that it is an honor to work for the Family and that the Royals are warm and friendly. It’s not easy to work in the palace. Staff must be available for any situation at all hours of the day. Some days start at 7.30 am and end at 11 pm. What does a royal’s assistant do then?
