Jordan’s talent is undisputed. 10 His Aquaphobia

Jordan watched his friend drown as a child. This entire incident was terrifying for the future pro-baller. Jordan nearly drowned in the same summer he spent at baseball camp when he turned 11. This was also terrifying.

These traumatic events have made it impossible for the athlete to be near large bodies of water. Because of his fear and anxiety about water (known as aquaphobia), he won’t go on a boat. Jordan, despite his love of the beach, is my fault. I cannot imagine what it must have been like for my friend to drown, especially since he was young.

Jordan was a high school senior when he was selected to join the McDonald’s All-American Team. In those two years, the future NBA star averaged 25 points per contest. Unsurprisingly, many colleges sought to recruit him.

He attended North Carolina University and was awarded a basketball scholarship. Michael Jordan was instrumental in leading his team to the title their first year. Jordan was not only the winner, but he was also the ACC Freshman Award Winner. For someone just out of high school, that’s quite remarkable.
