McDreamy would be the first thing any fan could think of. His role was that of Dr. Derek Shepard. It put him on the map and made him our fantasy physician.
We secretly wished he was our next doctor. McDreamy, now 53 years old, had an 11-year tenure on the show. Fans were devastated when McDreamy was killed off. The salt and pepper stud returned to Maine after that for a more relaxed lifestyle.

His breakout hit was 300 (2006), which saw the 50-year old Scottish actor. You might have seen him before in Phantom of the Opera. He was half-naked for most of 300 and had an aggressive edge in his role as King Leonidas of Spartans. You forget that he’s over 40 from his roles since that movie.
Gerard originally planned to become a lawyer, but he decided to pursue acting instead. He is now one of the most educated silver foxes. He came to America after what he called “the luck and the devil” and being fired from his job as a Scottish employee. Gerard became an actor and made a name in America.
