6 Amanda Seyfried
Another actress from Pennsylvania is Amanda Seyfried. She attended high school at William Allen High School in Allentown and graduated in 2003. An older sister is a member of the Philadelphia band Love City. Seyfried was in highschool when she modelled for Limited Too and appeared on the Sweet Valley High cover. She starred as Lucy Montgomery on As the World Turns during her senior year.

Beyonce was raised in Houston, Texas. Beyonce attended St. Mary’s Montessori School, Houston, where she discovered her singing talents. Darlette Johnson taught her dance and she was singing along to the song. After performing with the school’s choir, she attended Parker Elementary School. She also attended two Performing Arts Schools to prepare for her future career.
She was in high school when she met Kelly Rowland, her childhood friend. They went to an audition together and formed Girl’s Tyme. After signing a few contracts, the girls were quickly discovered and signed with Columbia Records. They changed their name from Destiny’s Child to Destiny’s Child, and soon became one of the most popular girl bands in the ’90s. Beyonce is a strong independent woman today, with 1058 nominations for awards and 543 wins.
