The test results
It took about half an hour before they saw Harvey’s doctor again. The doctor immediately showed them the test results. It turned out that Harvey had a mutation – he had three DNA matches instead of two! How is that even possible?

Normally, for IVF cases, a perfect match happens between the DNA of the baby and the DNA of the egg and sperm owners. In Harvey’s case, Laura’s DNA was also included in the mix. Laura could not believe the doctor’s news. How was it possible that her DNA mixed up with Harvey’s?
Impossible but true
The doctor said that in theory, the situation was possible. But it is the first time that he has seen it happen. After carrying Harvey for 9 months, it is possible that Laura could pass on some of her characteristics to him.

And this was evident in the color of Harvey’s hair. As you can see from this picture, he has a special hair color, making him look like a very unique baby, thanks to his grandmother’s DNA. When his parents found out, they were very happy about it. They now knew that little Harvey is extra special because of it.
