We know the world map just by the shape of it. Remember all the maps you were thought in school? Some teachers would even ask you to memorize them and do a blank map exam.

Pangea world map
Have you ever heard of Pangea? It is actually what we called Earth about 200 to 300 million years ago back when all the continents were still attached to each other. During those times, we only had one super continent.

This map shows what the countries looked like before the continents started to break apart and move from each other. As most of us know, this happened because of the movement of tectonic plates.
