Feeling at home
But it looked like the dog had made itself home on the steps of the dealership. It left for a while and Mariano thought that was the end of it but the dog came back again later. It sat down at the steps, wagging its tail at anyone passing by.
It was still pretty early in the morning and the dealership has not officially opened yet. As the manager, Mariano always made it a point to be the first person in the workplace. But as time passed, Mariano was getting worried that the dog had no plans of going away.
Compassion wins
Upon observation, Mariano does not think the dog is an aggressive one. So when it started raining outside, Mariano decided to give in and let the dog in the dealership. It was cold outside so the first thing Mariano did was to make sure the dog was feeling warm.
Mariano grabbed a blanket from the trunk of his car. Mariano was wrapping the dog in the blanket when the other employees started to arrive. Naturally, they were very curious about the dog’s presence in the dealership.
