Student Walked 14 Miles So He Would Not Be Late on His First Day on the Job

Midnight stroll

When it was time to leave, Walter made sure he did not carry a lot of things for the walk. He only had his wallet and smartphone. But he also carried a kitchen knife in case he runs into trouble along the way.

Walter started his journey one step at a time. He would increase his pace from time to time to shorten the distance. Sometimes he would sprint for a mile before slowing back down to a walking pace. He was able to walk through the dark with no problem.

Taking a break

As the hours went by, Walter started to feel tired. But he did his best to maintain his focus. He checked his watch and he saw that it was already 4 in the morning. He has done a good distance so he could afford a few minutes of rest and regain some energy.

He found a sport where he could sit down a bit and rest. A few minutes later, a police car suddenly pulled up beside him. The cop behind the wheel, Officer Mark Knighton, asked Walter if everything was okay.
