Mother Breaks Silence Over Daughter’s Disappearance 15 Years Ago

Once upon a time, there was an almost perfect family who lived in Tennessee. The mother and father, Dave and Beth Holloway, had two children. The oldest of whom was Natalee and then her younger brother, Matthew. In 1993, however, the couple decided that it was in their best interest to divorce each other.

Along the way, it was a tough time for the kids. Beth was stressed because of all the proceedings and how it was affecting their way of life. But some time after, she would meet a successful Alabama-based businessman named George “Jug” Twitty. They then relocated to the well-off city of Mountain Brook, Alabama.

Star Student

Even with the kind of stressful experiences she went through as a child with her parents’ separation and the moving, Natalee kept up with good grades. She was a star student and she graduated Mountain Brook High School with honors.

Unlike what you would imagine for a star student, Natalee wasn’t a nerd and had her nose stuck to a book most of the time. She also engaged in extracurricular activities. This includes joining the dance team and the National Honor Society. She was also awarded scholarship to the University of Alabama and was due to start her studies there.
