Rude behavior
Tony had the impression that he could do anything he wanted in the restaurant as if he owned the place. So it was not surprising that he would sometimes behave like a rowdy barbarian who did not care about the other customers in the restaurant.

A few guests would even complain about his behavior but the manager told them that he was their best customer. As a result, fewer people visited the restaurant. The manager did not mind the loss since Tony was an excessive spender in the restaurant.
They could not speak up
Other customers were not the only ones disgusted by Tony’s behavior. Some of the employees were also disturbed by the way Tony behaves but they were afraid to speak up in fear that the manager would favor Tony. They might just end up losing their jobs.

It seemed like Tony had the upper hand in this restaurant and he loved to show it off by bringing his friends there. And his friends would always admire how the restaurant staff would bend over just to accommodate his demands.
