If You See This Bug In Your Yard, Act Quick and Get Rid of It

An invasive species

These brown stink bugs grow up to 0.7 inches, making them very tiny. But do not let their small size fool you. This species can ruin your yard if you allow it to roam around and multiply. And these bugs will not limit themselves to your garden.

They can get inside your house! Since they are tiny, they can get through cracks in the doors, windows, and walls of your house. Before you know it, you might have an infestation in your home.

Where do they come from?

These invasive species have been considered a nuisance in the United States and the United Kingdom. What makes it interesting is that they are not native species in these countries. The brown stink bugs actually originated from Asia – particularly China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

So how did they reach the West? Max Barclay, the head of the Coleoptera collection of the National History Museum, thinks he has found the answer. And it has a lot to do with the appearance of the brown stink bugs in the United Kingdom.
