College
With his childhood curiosity now turning into a career path, Patrick got accepted into the best science program in the country. This was his first taste of competitiveness in the field. He witnessed how secretive friends became in trying to protect their research from peers.
But rather than get dissuaded by this culture, Patrick thrived on it. He was naturally competitive, and the field of research science seamlessly fit well with his personality and professional goals.
Career
Throughout college, Patrick was determined to set himself apart from everybody else. So he studied hard and graduated at the top of his class. Soon enough, he started working as a research scientist.
