Being part of the British family might seem like one of life’s greatest achievements, but it’s not actually all fun and games. The members of the royal family have responsibilities that have to be followed whether they like it or not.
From charities to royal tours, members have a full day of activities and responsibilities. For example, did you know that Royals are not allowed to voice out their political opinions? Did you know that there are also certain words they’re not allowed to say in public? Here are some of the strangest rules they have to abide by.
2,000 Events Each Year
It’s not a secret that Royals are completely busy with all the royal engagements they have. However, did you know that all of them have to attend at least 2,000 engagements every year? These events are already arranged around 8 weeks in advance and most of them are listed on their website.
Apart from holiday celebrations, the royal family also has to participate in charity events, garden parties, presenting awards, changing of the guards, and many more. And that’s just in the UK alone! It was reported that Prince Harry attended 108 international events in 2019 alone.
