Moving To France
With their beloved cat, Oscar the young family found a rental property and looked at every property in their price range. They went up and down the French countryside, hoping to find the hidden gem they were looking for.
But their excitement was dwindling as all the properties they saw were either too run-down, too expensive, too small or too big! “We were feeling a bit disheartened” Erin shared. It seems like they couldn’t find something in between until Erin’s father sent her an email.
Just In Time
Her father had found a proper which was only a 45-minute drive from where the couple were staying and after seeing the pictures, the couple were already impressed. It seemed to tick many of their checkboxes.
And when they quickly planned their first visit, both of them decided on the moment as a coup de foudre – love at first sight. The stunning estate was nestled in Vendee, Pays de Loire, a region in western France and was called Château de Bourneau.
