Crankshaft
The crankshaft is the car part where the engine combustion force turns into rotating power so that your car will start rolling. When there is something wrong with your crankshaft, it means that something else in the engine has an issue too.
A crankshaft usually fails when its bearings do not get enough oil. Without proper lubrication, the bearing will spin and damage both the engine block and the crankshaft. To prevent this from happening, make sure that the crankshaft gets its lubrication.
Alternator
The alternator is responsible for supplying electricity to your car. Aside from that, it also has the responsibility to maintain your car’s battery and make sure that it is charging at a proper state.
When there is something wrong with the alternator, a red battery warning light will appear on your dash. This will indicate that your car is losing power. When the red battery warning light is on, you should expect your car to stall and stop soon.
