DIY ice pack
Ice packs are always handy to cool down kids whether they are feeling sick or simply needing relief from a really hot day. But ice packs can be very expensive if you buy them all the time from the store.
You can easily save money by making your own ice pack and it barely costs a thing. All you have to do is wet a clean sponge then put it in a small ziplock bag. Then, place the whole thing in the freezer. Take it out once somebody needs an ice pack in the house.
Fix stuck zippers with candles
It is a fact that most kids often end up ruining their zippers. Usually, they are in a rush to zip up their coats or jackets and as a result, their zippers get stuck in place no matter how hard they pull.
To fix this dilemma, all you have to do is to rub some candle wax on the teeth of the zipper where it is wedged. The wax will provide some lubrication, which will allow the zipper to easily slide into place.
