A List of Genius Parenting Hacks and Tricks that Will Blow Your Mind

Baby washcloth as a DIY teething ring

Got a baby in the house? This is probably the toughest stage of parenting. When your baby starts teething, you do not have to buy those plastic teething rings that may have harmful chemicals in them.

You can simply use a baby washcloth. All you have to do is wet it, roll it and curl it into a muffin tin then freeze it. This will work perfectly to help ease the throbbing gum of your baby when they are teething.

Oil for painless band-aid removal

No childhood is complete without accumulating some cuts and scrapes. Thankfully, we have band-aids to patch them up and save the day. But removing them can bring up some problems though.

Most of the time, removing band-aids can be painful for most kids – especially the young ones. To make life easier, soak a cotton bud in vegetable or baby oil. Then, rub the soaked side over the top of the band-aid. This will dissolve the adhesive and will allow you to remove it without causing any pain.
