10 Jim Carrey & Lauren Holly: 309 Day
No matter how short the marriage was, “Dumb & Dumber” fans will be able to appreciate it. Holly and Carrey were married on September 23, 1996. Holly filed for divorce ten months later citing “irreconcilable disagreements”.
Holly said that they had been dating secretly for years before finally getting married. Paparazzi started to invade their lives, climbing their fences and digging through their garbage. She claimed they tried to keep the media away from their personal lives.
9 Cris Judd & Jennifer Lopez: 218 days
Cris Judd first met Lopez in 2001, when he was a backup performer in her “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” video. They were engaged and got married in the same year. But, their marriage ended 218-days later.
Judd said that although fame wasn’t the cause of their broken marriage, it wasn’t their favorite part. Judd shared his feelings about their relationship with Us Weekly in 2014: “You know it’s very difficult. Your privacy is violated. You’re not a normal individual anymore. It was a circus. I believe that many people were trying to climb up mountains to sneak in.”
